Le Weekend was founded in 2021 but the idea has been a seed in the back of my brain for some years now. I have always had a passion for creativity and product creation, but I didn’t feel generic retail was the right fit for my ethos. Then I realised what I needed my shop to be, it needed to be an invitation to intentional living.
As a solopreneur, (yup that is an actual word now, I looked it up), there really are no other staff, but I thought it would still be nice to introduce you to people behind the brand.

The Future
Life has been pretty busy developing products, sourcing products, being my own web developer, sales manager, social media manager, logistic manager, accountant, product stylist and photographer. The list goes on so I will not bore you. One day I was having breakfast with the kiddos and talking about mummy’s new business and they asked if they could help. I told Sebastian he could be head of marketing, (I hate marketing). His response was, “That is fantastic Mummy am I really head of marketing? What even is marketing”. The kid is priceless.
My goal has never been to build a huge company. I just want to continue creating products that I love – and the rest will follow.
