Like so many I am completely entangled in a love affair with mushrooms and fungi. These wonderous organisms. Their underground threads of communication.
They have the ability to delight our tastebuds, cure our ailments or kill us. These delicate beautiful wonders are used to make cloth, building materials, medicine, dye, packaging and bio fuels. Is it any wonder that when I walk through the woods I am compelled to sketch them.
This print was made from sketches that I made in the woods behind my house.
